- a landlord can not ask some one on an assured tenancy to move to a shorthold,
- people with agreements of more than 7 years need to have them register.
- that from January 2008 new tenants or prospetive tenants hve to be provided with "an energy report" (this is similar to part of a HIPS when selling a house to show how "green" a property is and how much it would cost to run the property).
